Manager - Monterey

Pay: $22–$24 per hour (DOE) + pooled tips

Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Split coverage between morning and afternoon shifts
Typical Shifts: 7:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.

We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Manager to help oversee daily operations, support the management team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences at El Charrito Monterey.

This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, as the Manager must communicate clearly with both guests and staff across Front and Back of House.

The Manager reports directly to the Assistant Manager and General Manager and works closely leadership to coordinate operations, uphold standards, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Assistant Manager and General Manager with daily operations and staff scheduling
• Support and lead Front and Back of House teams during assigned shifts
• Manage workflows, POS systems, and troubleshoot operational issues
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and guest service
• Help oversee inventory, ordering, and cash handling
• Assist in training and developing team members
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of work experience, preferably in a restaurant setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Hands-on, team-oriented approach
• Dependable and organized with attention to detail
