BOH Prep / Delivery Driver: Preparación BOH / Conductor de Entregas
Primary Location: El Charrito – Salinas
Delivery Routes: Marina & Monterey (company-provided vehicle)
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday | 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)
We’re hiring a reliable and motivated BOH Prep / Delivery Driver for a hybrid role that combines morning deliveries with back-of-house kitchen prep. This position is based out of El Charrito Salinas and supports daily operations across multiple locations.
The first portion of each shift (approximately 3 hours) will focus on delivery driver duties, followed by BOH prep responsibilities, including but not limited to tortilla making and other general kitchen preparation tasks.
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete scheduled morning deliveries to Marina and Monterey locations
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle
• Follow assigned delivery routes and timelines
• Load, transport, and unload food
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage or contamination
• Maintain delivery logs and communicate any delays or issues
• Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies
BOH PREP RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with daily kitchen prep tasks
• Support tortilla production and prep as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of BOH work areas
• Assist with inventory organization and restocking
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling standards
• Support kitchen team with general prep and operational needs
REQUIREMENTS
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and kitchen supplies (up to 50 pounds)
• 2–3 years of BOH prep experience preferred (but not required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
• Must be comfortable with early morning start times
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive prep tasks
DRIVING REQUIREMENT & BACKGROUND CHECK
This position requires driving a company-provided vehicle. Employment is contingent upon maintaining a valid driver’s license and meeting company and insurance driving eligibility requirements. A motor vehicle record (MVR) background check will be conducted prior to hire.

La primera parte de cada turno (aproximadamente 3 horas) se enfocará en las funciones de conductor de entregas, seguida por responsabilidades de preparación BOH, incluyendo, entre otras tareas, la elaboración de tortillas y otras tareas generales de preparación en cocina.
RESPONSABILIDADES COMO CONDUCTOR DE ENTREGAS
• Completar entregas programadas por la mañana a las ubicaciones de Marina y Monterey
• Operar de manera segura un vehículo proporcionado por la empresa
• Seguir las rutas y horarios asignados
• Cargar, transportar y descargar alimentos
• Manejar los productos con cuidado para evitar daños o contaminación

RESPONSABILIDADES DE PREPARACIÓN BOH

• Ayudar con la organización de inventario y reabastecimiento

REQUISITOS
• Licencia de conducir válida
• Capacidad para levantar y cargar cajas pesadas y suministros de cocina (hasta 50 libras)
• Se prefieren 2–3 años de experiencia en preparación BOH (no es obligatorio)
• Preferiblemente bilingüe (inglés/español)
• Persona confiable, puntual y organizada
• Debe sentirse cómodo/a con horarios de inicio temprano
• Capacidad para permanecer de pie por períodos prolongados y realizar tareas repetitivas
