Front of House Food Prep - Monterey

Pay: $18–$19 per hour DOE (plus pooled team tips)
Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Typical Shifts: 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., 12:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m.

We’re looking for a dependable and energetic Front of House Food Prep who can prepare food orders and attend to customers in a fast-paced and friendly environment.

You’ll report directly to the Assistant Manager and work closely with both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations and great guest experiences.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Split coverage between morning and afternoon shifts
Typical Shifts: 7:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.

We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Manager to help oversee daily operations, support the management team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences at El Charrito Monterey.

This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, as the Manager must communicate clearly with both guests and staff across Front and Back of House.

The Manager reports directly to the Assistant Manager and General Manager and works closely leadership to coordinate operations, uphold standards, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Lalla Grill and El Charrito will operate together under one roof — Lalla Grill as a full-service restaurant and El Charrito offering a more casual counter-service experience. Both will share the same kitchen and back-of-house team, with separate dining areas and outdoor patios to create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
